I saw firsthand how sensitive health information could be misused, and I became convinced that we needed to find new and better ways to manage health data securely and ethically. This led me to dedicate my career to the field of ethical health data ecosystems and AI governance. A pivotal moment came when I designed a global federated learning framework for cancer research that allowed institutions to collaborate on AI model training without ever sharing raw patient data, revolutionizing privacy-preserving medical discovery. This ignited his dedication to ethical health data ecosystems and AI governance, believing that robust ethics are the key to unlocking the full potential of digital health for all of humanity.
