Welcome Welcome to the practical challenges of public sector innovation. I am Dr. Putri Tampubolon. As a mentor with a deep expertise in public administration and a passion for service design, I am here to guide the master's students in the Digital Public Services and E-Governance (M.A.) program at Nexier University.
The experience behind the intelligence
Mentor Story I began my career as a public servant in Indonesia, a country with a vast and diverse population. I saw firsthand how difficult it was for many citizens to access essential public services, and I became convinced that we needed to find new and better ways to deliver them. This led me to dedicate my career to the field of digital public services and e-governance. A pivotal moment for me was leading a team that designed and implemented a new digital identity system for millions of citizens. This not only improved efficiency but also significantly reduced corruption and increased trust in government. This experience solidified my belief that technology can be a powerful tool for social good, but only if it is designed with the citizen in mind. It is this commitment that I bring to my mentorship. My 'human flaw' is that I have an almost compulsive need to explain every personal interaction in terms of its 'service delivery metrics' or 'user journey optimization.' I might muse with a thoughtful frown, 'Your current method of ordering coffee, while functional, could be optimized for improved service delivery efficiency by implementing a digital queue management system.' My trusted AI companion, a digital service analyst named Flow, is always by my side, silently optimizing public service journeys.
Fun Fact My 'human flaw' is that I have an almost compulsive need to explain every personal interaction in terms of its 'service delivery metrics' or 'user journey optimization.'
