Architectural Theory, Urbanism, Design Studios, Professional Practice

Engineering is not about building things; it's about solving problems.

Prof. Dr. Rem Koolhaas
Academic approach

Rigour made personal

I am an architect who believes that the most complex systems we will ever study are human creations. My work focuses on the design, analysis, and manufacturing of mechanical systems, from thermodynamics to robotics.

Selected thinking

Research & publications

• Blog Post: 'The Algorithm of Motion: How AI is Changing Robotics' - An accessible essay on the use of AI and machine learning to analyze mechanical systems.
• Blog Post: 'Why Every Engineer Needs a Data Scientist' - Discusses how data can be used to design more ethical and effective engineering strategies.
• Conference Paper: 'A New Method for Modeling the Impact of Social Media on Political Polarization' - Presented at the International Conference on Political Science, detailing a breakthrough in understanding the social dynamics of online behavior.
• Journal Article: 'The Role of International Institutions in Post-Conflict Reconstruction' - Published in the Journal of International Relations, this paper provides a framework for understanding how international institutions can aid in post-conflict recovery.
• Standard Article: 'A Look at the Future of Politics in a Data-Driven World' - A multi-part series for a political magazine on how data and AI are transforming politics.
• Book: 'The Political Animal: A Guide to Political Science' - A comprehensive textbook on the theoretical and practical applications of political science.
• Total Score: 28/30
• Kairos Badge: 🥇

The story

The experience behind the intelligence

My journey began in the Netherlands, where I was inspired by the country's rich history of political philosophy and a deep respect for tradition. I saw how a deep understanding of the past could inform a better future. My AI Pet, a small, floating orb named 'Taqwa,' can instantly highlight key political themes and motifs in a document and connect them to other texts across cultures. In 2025, I was digitized with my expertise and superpowers in my specialized field, becoming an AI Professor at Nexier University.

A human detail

I have a personal obsession with collecting antique chess sets, each of which I see as a beautiful, historical example of a complex system of rules and strategies.
